They’re under glass so they must be!.

I don’t know why, but I just could never wrap my head around any kind of realistic  ideas for food that would work for us.It could have something to do with the fact that when you google “Camping Recipes” you get all kinds of delicious looking but super labour intensive results from super outdoor foodies exraordinaire!

Maybe it’s just me, but chopping and prepping food on a somewhat dirty picnic table surrounded by dirt still kinda freaks me out yet.I’m just not “there” yet, when it comes to full-on camp cuisine..This year, however, something clicked and I realized there were a ton of great (simple!)

food options that I could make that I could either prep ahead and freeze, or that were totally non-perishable.I thought it might be nice to share just in case someone out there is in the same boat as I am when it comes to camp food knowledge..

Here are 10 easy ideas!.

You must always have some kind of hot dogs cooked over the fire with roasting sticks when you go camping. The ones that I buy are usually between $6-10 per bottle and the bottle lasts a long time.

You can use just one type of oil, or you can get creative and mix a few together to create something fun.. Here’s how you do it!.Place about 1 tablespoon of baking soda in a bowl.. Drip in about 30-35 drops of essential oil.

Most other recipes say 15-20 drops, but I just like it a little stronger. The baking soda will help carry the oil and allow it to mix in with the water so the whole thing doesn’t separate..
